How do I measure a Noodle board (Stove top Cover)?

Hands down this has got to be one of the biggest (if not the biggest questions that we get concerning our stove top covers). Read on to see the three easy steps you can take to get a great-fitting stove cover for your glass-top stove.

Step 1- Grab an easy-to-use tape measure.

This may sound like an odd step, but really some tape measures are so much easier than others to read and will make your (and my) life super happy! While any tape measure will technically work, I have fallen in love with this one for its ease of readability and it will make your job so much easier. Check out the ad below for an Amazon listing. Step 2 for Measuring a Noodle Board to fit a Glass top Stove.
The second step is to measure the length of your stove top. Generally, to help make terms more understandable we call this the "Left-to-Right" measurement.
Place the hook of your tape measure at the left edge of your stovetop and pull it to the right side. The number you are looking for is right at where the right edge of the stove top meets the right countertop. 

 

   

Step 3 for Measuring a Noodle Board to fit a Glass top Stove.

Well, if you have made it this far you are almost done. The only thing left is to measure the front-to-back size. Begin here by placing the hook end of the tape measure at the rear of the stove top. Be careful, some stovetops (like ours :) have a curve in the rear. Be careful that the hook end of the tape measure doesn't go up onto the curved area. You want to get it right before the curve starts. Then pull the tape measure straight toward you. The number you want is right at the edge of the front of the stove top.
